NYE (addendum)

Sooooo, K and I found an adorable 2-bedroom apartment in Fremont for CHEAP!!! It's been pretty much gutted and rebuilt inside, so we'll have new everything: flooring, fixtures, lights, paint, bathroom, kitchen, appliances, etc. There's a breakfast bar and lots of counter space for culinary excursions. There are also lots of little shelves and nooks built into the walls, a backyard, and the second bedroom is perfect for two desks, a drafting table, all of my books, and my banjo. It's two blocks from where he currently lives, so we are comfortable with the neighborhood and already have a rhythm established there. He moves in mid-January, and I will move in when my lease is up at the end of April. A great way to start our second year in the Emerald City!

Ah! It's that time again! Rather than making resolutions, here's what I want to keep in mind in 2009:

-first and foremost, take care of myself
-sell my car
-develop a musical base
-keep moving forward and be brave in all things
-lots of hiking
