K's work took both of us down to Huntington Beach for 4 days, including Disneyland. His boss generously flew all of his employees and a guest of their choice--all expenses paid!!! This included food and drinks, travel, accommodations, and Disney passes. Amazing! Most of the time was spent in work functions, but we were able to walk down the beach, relax, and see just a few people. Although I would have liked to have seen more folks, we only had a matter of hours, literally, to connect outside of the work stuff.

K and I went on Splash Mountain. BIG MISTAKE when you are wearing fitted jeans.... Oy.



Finally, we were able to get away from work commitments for a few hours and see some of my people and some of his. This picture came out funky, but I love these guys, so it's going up! K took it and had been drinking a bit, so who knows what is up with the camera setting....



We'll go down again in February for Erika and Jeremy's wedding in L.A. We will also try to make it down at some point when we aren't working or wedding--focused and spend time with more friends and family.
