12-String!
This is my favorite picture of my Dad and I've had it displayed for most of my adult life. David just pointed out that he's playing a 12-string. In 20+ years of ownership, I've never noticed this before! Ha! I don't know why, but this is the coolest discovery and has totally made my night, so I had to share....

i know--i love it!!
i just talked to my mom and she remembers that it was a 12-string Martin. i didn't know what that means, but d informed me that a Martin's fan-cey.
i think it's time for me to learn the banjo!! ;)
