Open

I have no idea what it means to have an open heart, so instead of agonizing over what it means, I'm going to just open it up, take risks, leave a lot to chance, and let go of control.

Ha.

Easier said than done, but I want to apply pragmatism to the gentle suggestion to have a more open heart. Ever the academic, I turn to "but what does that MEAN?!?" Instead of trying to figure this out, I'm going to let go and open it and see how it works on a practical, day-to-day level, as awkward, squirming, misshapen a mass as it is.
