Sneezy Face

One of my favorite authors (pictured above) sent out a blog post on myspace (to which I subscribe--duh!) asking what we think our "O" face looks like. Silly, I know. But I responded that I think it looks like the face we all make right before we sneeze (taking a cue from a conversation I had with Jesse and Kyle on the matter).

I was surprised this morning to see I had a message from this author in my mailbox and here's what it said:

"Happy Birthday, Sneezy Face!

(tee hee)

How adorable are you?

I hope you are surrounded by loved ones and good times today. Remember: you get to claim all month when it's your b day.

Sneezy face...That's about as cute as what this guy said the other night. It was Stand Up Comedy night at this place in Vancouver.

"Do you know why they call them 'Blue Balls'? It's not because they turn the colour blue. It's because they're sad. So so sad. They're blue..."

He had the saddest little face when he said this and the guy beside me just about shot his drink through his nose we were laughing so hard.

Once again, this is a great pic of you: mysterious and fun.

Take care,

Richard"

I know most of you do not have myspace, so this is the photo to which he refers. It was taken for Halloween/AW's birthday last year and serves as my profile picture:

The email is very similar to the encounter I had with him in person at a conference about 2 years ago, where he was the hot dish. He's incredibly sweet, incredibly smart, very very funny, and dirty as all hell. But it is subtle and that makes it charming. And, sadly, he is also married. Sniff. I did make it away that evening after his conference performance with my earring fondled but nothing more (I was married and being a good girl, and well, it was just my earring!). But it was a smooth move and, again, as subtle as it was totally NOT subtle.

Swoon.

i will post it later when i am not inebriated and can coherently enter technological information.

remember, your author called me "sweet cheeks" at that conference when our table gobbled up all the prizes he gave out for remembering details from his presentation. i got the collection of erotics writings by indigenous authors, 'without reservation.'

your picture causes momentary "tattoo or nipple?" confusion!

oh, and sneezy face for an O face is pretty close. how about the face one makes when you've just put something very hot in your mouth and you're trying to protect your tongue and cheeks from the heat until you can get something cool to drink?
