The Littlest Birds....

I received this in my department mailbox today:

"You were nominated by the 2006-07 Spring Quarter Resident Fellowship Group for a Graduate Student Resident Fellowship at the Center for Ideas and Society. As part of the fellowship you would receive a $2, 000 stipend, office space, and membership in the Resident Fellowship Group."

I feel like Elle Woods when someone asks who the fourth law firm internship spot has gone to and she exclaims, "ME!"

Erika fortuitously gave me this necklace on Sunday, a lovely token in recognition of my inclination to flight....
