Less Prickly

I was re-thinking my prickly pears post and I think there is something, too, to those folks in my life who get under my skin in really quiet, lovely ways. Though I am no stranger and have little fear of those who are of the prickly kind, I also am realizing that those who make me laugh, talk me down from ledges, have the patience to listen to my wild ramblings, and soothe my often fragile little self (and love me anyway) are even more incredible than those who (sometimes refreshingly) expect nothing from me.
