What I'm Listening To

1. Burning from the Inside, Bauhaus. Favorites: "King Volcano," "Who Killed Mr. Moonlight," and "Kingdom's Coming."
2. Martha Wainwright, Martha Wainwright. Though not a fan of her brother, Rufus, I particularly enjoyed this debut album. Favorites: "Bloody Mother Fucking Asshole" and "Oprah Song."
3. Dirty Ditties, Asylum Street Spankers. There are only 4 songs on this album, but all are delicious: "If You Love Me (You'll Sleep on the Wet Spot)," "Two On One," "Everybody's Fucking But Me," and "The Scrotum Song."
4. Perennial Favorites, Squirrel Nut Zippers. Favorites: still warming up to it, so don't know yet!
5. Chess Classics, Chess Records. Favorites: "Liberation Conversation" (Marlena Shaw), "Fattening Frogs for Snakes" (Sonny Boy Williamson), and ""You Left the Water Running" (Maurice & Mac).
